Join us for the 3rd Annual Dia de los Muertos Cultural Festival at Rose Hills Memorial Park on Sunday, October 28, 2012 from 11 A.M. – 5:30 P.M.
This FREE family event features great activities for the whole family plus live music and food to please every palate. This year’s event will feature:
Plaza de la Rosa – delicious food from a variety of restaurants and food trucks featuring Farmer John, Sweet Lou’s BBQ and Frysmith!
Jardín de la Rosa – arts and crafts just for the little ones, specially designed for this event;
Mercado de la Rosa – Día de los Muertos themed arts and crafts from artisan vendors;
Arte de la Rosa – in the SkyRose Chapel, you will enjoy the artwork of talented local artists including this year’s featured artist, Raul Pizarro. This young, inspirational artist – who lives with muscular dystrophy – shares his passion for life through his artwork.
Teatro de la Rosa – live entertainment will fill the air as we feature folklorico group Tierra Blanca, Mariachi Trompetas de Mexico and the sensational sounds of local band Conjunto Los Pochos.
